MINNEAPOLIS

 BLACK BUSINESS WEEK

Juice House partnered with the City of Minneapolis on an inspiring project to spotlight and celebrate Black-owned small businesses in the local community both in 2023 and 2024.

In 2024, Juice House deepened its commitment to amplifying the voices of Black entrepreneurs with the City of Minneapolis by focusing on the emerging cannabis industry in the local community. With the recent legalization initiatives, Juice House highlighted Cultivated CBD, a Minneapolis-based brand led by Black entrepreneurs, to highlight their trailblazing work in this transformative sector. Through compelling interviews and tasteful portraits, the project celebrated how Cultivated CBD combines the expertise of growers, extractors, policy leaders, and medical professionals to deliver innovative and trusted products while championing diversity in the cannabis space.

As part of the initiative, Juice House interviewed three prominent Black entrepreneurs in Minneapolis and captured their portraits to showcase their stories. The goal was to amplify diverse voices in the city's business community and empower future business leaders of color to pursue their dreams. By sharing the journeys of these business pioneers, the City of Minneapolis aims to inspire the next generation of minority-owned enterprises and encourage residents to support local Black businesses.

The three featured entrepreneurs each have a unique background but all exemplify the spirit of innovation, determination, and community leadership. Their success demonstrates their immense contributions across Minneapolis and the importance of diversity and inclusion to the city's economic future. Juice House was proud to hear firsthand how these individuals overcame obstacles, leveraged opportunities, and built thriving companies while also giving back. Their stories reveal the resilience and vision of Minneapolis' minority small business community.
